Rachel Ann Foster Photography - I try to capture the beauty found in everyday life. While much of my work is scenic in nature, I also photograph flowers and still life arrangements. I particularly enjoy portrait work. When creating a portrait, I prefer to use a plain background and feature the person. I try to eliminate visual "clutter" from the scene so that there are no distractions. My goals are to show something of the person's character along with highlighting both inner and outer beauty. My style has been called "minimalist" and "dramatic." I use lighting to create mood and often prefer black and white to color, depending on the feel of the photo.
